Yes, we're called L O'Reilly Carpentry & Joinery — but over the years, the business has naturally evolved.

Our foundations are, and always will be, in carpentry. It's the trade Lewis started in, the craft our business was built around, and something that continues to run through almost every project we deliver.

But as the projects got bigger, so did our role.

What started with carpentry and joinery naturally developed into extensions, loft conversions, full property remodels and increasingly complex construction projects — supported by a trusted team of skilled trades and experienced project management.

And actually, we think our carpentry background is one of our greatest strengths.

Carpentry is often considered a governing trade in construction because it's there at the beginning, the middle and the end of a build.

From structural timberwork, floor joists and roof construction during the early stages, through to first-fix partitions, door linings and coordination with electrical and plumbing installations — and finally second-fix carpentry, bespoke joinery and the finishing details that bring a project together.

Carpenters work alongside virtually every other trade on a building site.

Bricklayers. Roofers. Electricians. Plumbers. Plasterers. Decorators.

At some point, almost every element of a build connects back into the carpentry.
